THE BIO: Gaye Arbuckle, an anointed National Gospel Recording artist from Dallas , Texas with an enriched style and talent that leaves you spiritually touched as she ministers in music and song. She is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where she served as director/musician for the Baptist Student Union. While attending PVAMU, she won the coveted “Miss. National BSU” and was 3 rd runner-up in the “Miss Prairie View Pageant”. Gaye is currently the minister of music of Concord Church in Dallas , Texas where she leads praise and worship on any given Sunday.

Founder and president of the GMWA, the late Reverend James Cleveland in New Orleans , presented her to the gospel world at a very young age. Since that time, she has been a featured soloist on two GMWA albums. A featured soloist on the Mississippi Mass Choir album with the late Rev. James Moore, singing “Have Faith in God ” and on Meeks Record/Pastor Clay Evans project singing “ Oh How Much He Cares ”.

Gaye sang and has appeared in opening performances for Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Vickie Winans, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clarke-Cole, Karen Clarke-Sheard, Kelly Price, Stephen Hurd just to name a few.

 
OTHER ACCOLADES include, nominated for songwriter of the year, Runner-up for female vocalist of the year, Bobby Jones Gospel, sang “The National Anthem” for a major NBA game, guest artist for the Martin Luther King Celebration at the Myerson Symphony Center for (2) years, directress for Juanita Bynum & Myron Williams “A night at the Meyerson”, featured soloist on Clichés (Greg O'Quin) singing “Unh-Unh”, Take It To The Bridge, National Baptist Convention, Rhema Conferences, Ministry 2000, TBN, soloist on the Prestonwood Project singing the title cut “Faithful”, worship leader for the EK Bailey Conference, soloist for “National Global Day of Prayer”, “God of the City “event and toured Germany and other well-known assemblies and gatherings. These appearances were followed by a whirlwind of numerous guest appearances and other featured soloist invitations. A musician, songwriter in her own right, Gaye is also a vocal coach and enjoys functioning as a workshop clinician.

A Musician, Songwriter: Gaye is also a thespian with such productions like: “Porgy and Bess”, “The Night I Fell in Love, Preachers Kids, and “The Spirit of Forgiveness.” She released her third album, recorded "Live" in Dallas, Texas. She produced, wrote and re-arranged for this project on B&G Label entitled, "Miracles and Blessing". With her self-entitled release,"Gaye", her fourth recording, this artist brings a flare of style to the music industry but still walking in divine order.

In April 2008 at the Concord Church , she recorded live with her church choir United Voices of Concord. Soon to be released in the fall of 2009 entitled “Holy”.
